What Supportive Treatments Are Available?

There are many different supportive options and programs available. Being informed may help you find supportive treatments you feel comfortable with. Having a plan in place can also help you get the most out of your treatment and recovery journey.

Supportive Treatment Options May Include:

  • Going to talk therapy
  • Attending support groups
  • Participating in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Teams
  • Engaging in peer-to-peer counseling
  • Finding safe and stable housing
  • Getting employment or vocational (job) counseling
  • Training in daily living and social skills
  • Staying active (going to the gym, out for a walk, or to the library)
